Message Tune the car to 93 octane, welcome to the Z community.

If you are choosing to use the Zemulator, all bets are off!

Assuming that you are simply getting an Ashpec chip for your ECU, have Ash flash it for the injector size, octane, and the Dual POP. Then INSTALL 2 INTAKES ON YOUR CAR. If you don't already own a second MAS get one. This is the recipe if you are starting from scratch for a properly running Z. Congratulations, you get to avoid all the costly and complicated use of "old" technology that has brought us this far.

Running a single MAS and doubling the monitered air was an old-school technique that the vast majority of us have moved away from thanx to Jim's wonderful Plug-n-play device. There were enough of us out there that had not made the switch to a true dual set-up because of how complicated the procedure was. The Selin kit was designed to easily make the transition into TRUE dual POP AFC.

The question remains as to whether you WERE running 2 MAS (this is ideal) or what was reffered to as a "dummy" Mass Air. The Selin is designed to configure and evenly calculate the A/F using the 2 (required) MAS.

This allows anyone that was using the "low speed driveability balance hose" (an inferior set-up) or the "flower Garden" (and you know who you are) to run the Selin instead of the complicated install of the S-AFC. The S-AFC has alot more features and adjustability that most of us would never use once the car is tuned properly. Jim has installed a switch on the Selin devise that determines the compatibility for a pre-existing set-up.
